Continuation Training (CT145)

PROGRAMME SYNOPSIS:

This professional development training programme is designed to facilitate compliance with IR 145.A.35(d) (or equivalent IR). It provides participants with a qualitative understanding of relevant changes to the Part 145 IRs (including AMCs and GMs as applicable) from the preceding 2 years, as well as a review of human factors in aircraft maintenance. Furthermore, the programme will include an interactive workshop session designed to facilitate best practices and constructive feedback reporting in relation to the previously referenced training elements.

KEY TOPICS:

-   Relevant changes to the Part 145 IRs

-   Relevant AMCs & GMs to the above changes

-   Review of the concept of human factors

-   The need to remain proactive about HF

-   Review of MEMS & Just Culture fundamentals

-   Best practices for mitigating HF in AM

-   Lessons learnt from recent HF in AM cases
